Icklesham Memorial Hall & Pavilion

We are a Village Hall in the heart of East Sussex. Our rural venues are nestled between the historic towns of Hastings and Winchelsea, our village hall and separate pavilion offer the perfect setting for classes, clubs, celebrations, and community events.

The Icklesham Trust hold many events throughout the year, including the Icklesham village fete, local market, quizzes, meet ups, coffee mornings, table top sales, and more.

The hall is available for private hire if you would like to host a birthday party or family event. For those thinking about starting up a group, we have the ideal venue for you.

The Church and Trust associated groups, also use our venue for fundraising, events and activities. Making it a thriving centre of our community.

Our Location

Set against a stunning backdrop of rolling countryside, orchards, vineyards, woodland, sweeping views to the sea and the Brede Valley, Icklesham is a truly special place. Seen from the recreation ground is the iconic Hogg Hill windmill. The area boasts natural beauty and access to the 1066 footpaths.

We are located just off the A259 main road or off Workhouse Lane, Icklesham. We are close to the church of All Saints and St Nicolas and the Queen’s Head pub. We are approx. 15 minutes from Rye & Hastings. The 100 Wave Stagecoach bus, stops on the A259 just outside the Hall & Pavilion, every hour. Nearest Train stations with direct bus links are Rye & Hastings.

There is free parking in the main car park, and at the side of the hall in Workhouse Lane.
